Professional CV

Education:

• 1986 – 88 – M.A. in Fashion at St. Martins School of Art, London
• 1979 – 85 – Fashion Design degree course at the University Of Applied Art, Prague

Professional Accomplishments:

Currently Jaroslava is working on the production of seasonal collections „Pret a Porter“ suitable for small series.
These collections are presented twice a year for Czech market – „Prague Fashion Week“ – Gallery Manes – Prague, and abroad – „Platform 2“ – New York, and „Czech Residence“ – Haag.
The lines include both sewn and knitted outfits.

• 2000 – 07 – Custom design work for private clientele;
  • seasonal collections produced for retail sale
• 1998 – 99 – Regularly presented at prestigious show called “Days of Czech Fashion” in Prague;
  • First prize for glove design at the international Brno fair for accessories, KABO ’99
• 1994 – 98 – Seasonal collections presented at independent shows
• 1993 – Collection called ”New Generation Fashion Wear” at IGEDO - Düsseldorf
• 1989 – 92 – While resident in London:
  • Collection of leather coats for Leather Bricklane Factory Ltd.;
  • Collection called “4 Seasons” at Grosvenor House, Park Lane;
  • Design work for Frank Usher eveningwear
• 1989 – Work on a Dutch project to support the development of textile production in India;

• 1988 – First prize for the “Easy Jeans” denim project in London
